Gorgonzola Crusted Steak with Shrimp is an exquisite and savory dish that combines the robust flavors of a perfectly cooked steak with the rich and tangy profile of Gorgonzola cheese, all complemented by succulent shrimp.
This culinary masterpiece begins with a high-quality cut of steak, expertly seasoned and seared to achieve a mouthwatering crust that locks in its natural juices.
Ingredients
- 2 Bone-In Ribeyes
- 1 Dozen Shrimp Peeled and Deveined
- 1 Cup of Crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese
- ¼ Cup of Panko Bread Crumb
- ¼ Cup of Melted Butter (You can always add more to get more of a pasty finish)
- 1-2 Tablespoons of Parsley

1-2 Teaspoons of Fire Chief Hot Sauce

Gunpowder Steak & Brisket Seasoning

Claymore Cajun Seasoning
- Chopped Chives for garnish

Directions
Pat dry your steaks and season with Gunpowder Steak & Brisket Seasoning
I am sous viding this steak at 132 degrees for 2 hours.
Note: You can grill or bake your steak however you like just make sure your done cooking it at 132 degrees internal temperature
In a bowl, mix together the panko bread crumb, crumbled gorgonzola cheese, hot sauce, and parsley.
Pour your melted butter over the top and mix thoroughly.
Sear off your steak to develop a nice crust on both sides.
- Place your steak on an oven rack and spread your gorgonzola cheese mixture over the top of the steak.
Let that cook in your oven on broil for 5-7 minutes.
Season your shrimp on both sides with Claymore Cajun Seasoning
Cook shrimp in a skillet on medium heat till the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees internal.
Once the gorgonzola cheese has crusted over, it is done. Pull it out of the oven.
Add your shrimp on top of the steak.
Garnish with chopped chives.
