Jason Murff makes a salsa verde, This is a staple in every Mexican kitchen. Perfect for enchiladas verdes or for topping tacos. It's even great on eggs. It is very easy to make and is a versatile salsa. This fresh homemade salsa will put the bottled salsas to shame!
1 1/4 lbs tomatillos*, husked
1 jalapeno**, stem removed (before or after roasting)
2/3 cup chopped yellow onion, rinsed under water to remove harsh bite
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp fresh lime juice
3 Tbsp water, then more as desired
1/2 tsp Pop Smoke Taco & Fajita Seasoning
1/2 tsp Whiskey Smoked Sea Salt
Proportion and prepare all ingredients
Add ingredients to blender
Add Pop Smoke Taco & Fajita Seasoning
Add Whiskey Smoked Sea Salt
Serve and enjoy
