Make a Weekend Out of It

GET SETTLED AND EXPLORE THE RIVER WALK

Friday Evening

Kick off the weekend with dinner and drinks along the San Antonio River Walk. Walk the river, grab a margarita, enjoy some live music, or take a narrated river cruise through downtown.

For a more relaxed night, head to The Pearl for local restaurants, bars, coffee shops, boutiques, and plenty of places to hang out.

EXPERIENCE SAN ANTONIO HISTORY

Saturday Morning

Before heading to the Bash, start your day at one of San Antonio’s most iconic landmarks.

Visit the Alamo

Walk through one of the most recognizable historic sites in Texas. Admission to the Alamo Church is free, although advance reservations are recommended.

Explore the San Antonio Missions

The Alamo is only one part of San Antonio’s mission history. The San Antonio Missions National Historical Park includes four additional Spanish colonial missions that can be explored by car, bike, or on foot.

Walk Through Historic Market Square

Shop for Texas and Mexican gifts, enjoy authentic food, listen to live music, and explore the colorful shops of the largest Mexican market in the country.

Just make sure you leave yourself enough time to get ready and arrive at Buck & Doe’s Mercantile before the party starts at 1600.

BRUNCH AND THE PEARL

Sunday Morning

Recover from the night before with brunch, coffee, and a walk around The Pearl.

The Pearl is one of San Antonio’s best areas for local dining, shopping, and relaxing by the river. Depending on the weekend schedule, visitors may also be able to check out the Pearl Farmers Market.
