Simple & Easy Butter Shrimp & Steak

This Steak and Shrimp dish is a great take on a Surf & Turf dinner. With the Buttered Shrimp and steak you will be drooling before hours before the first bite! I Used white onions in this video but you can also use Shallots or red onions to make the color pop! The Cajun Seasoning Gives a great flavor on the shrimp and in the butter sauce. This recipe is a no brainer for date night
Ingredients

2 steaks

1 Pound of shrimp
-
2 Sticks of butter
-
½ - 1 diced Onion (Shallots would work great also)
-
1 tablespoon of Minced Garlic
-
Red Pepper/Chili Flakes to taste
-
Chopped Parsley
-
Juice of 1 Whole Lemon
-
Avocado or Grapeseed Oil or Duck Fat
Directions
Season Your steak with Platoon Sergeant Seasoning
Vacuum Seal the steaks
Place your steaks in your sous vide water bath at 128 Degrees for 1 & ½ hours - 2 hours (You can also grill these steaks instead of sous vide)
Season your Shrimp with Claymore Cajun Seasoning
Heat up your frying pan on medium heat
Add both butter sticks to your frying pan
once the butter is completely melted add in your chopped onions (Let the onions cook down for a few minutes)
Add your minced Garlic & let everything become all happy for about 5 more minutes
Add your Shrimp
Stir Shrimp around in the Butter mixture so the shrimp cook evenly
Once the shrimp are almost cooked all the way through add your Crushed Red pepper/Chili flakes and your chopped parsley and mix
Take your steak out of the sous vide and pat dry
Heat up a skillet on medium high heat with grapseed oil and sear off your steak on both sides
Slice up your steak and place in a deep serving dish
Spoon your shrimp on top of the seak and then add more of your butter sauce to top it off
Garnish with some more chopped parsley

Recipe Note
Shallots or Red onion would work great instead of white onion. I used unsalted butter but you can use salted butter if you like depending on your flavor profile.
