Candied Sweet Potato
This is a simple dish to make that doesn’t require a lot of attention or effort. Once you start passing these out your guests will be begging for more. The Whiskey Smoked salt, Brown Sugar, and cinnamon make these potatoes pop with flavor. This dish is also great for dessert!
6-8 pieces sweet potatoes
1/3 cup granulated brown sugar
1 bag of mini marshmallows
1 tablespoon of Cinnamon
1 1/2 sticks of butter
Whiskey Smoked Sea Salt
Spray oil or cooking oil
Skin your sweet potatoes
Cube up evenly
Lightly coat your potatoes with oil
Evenly season your potatoes with your brown Sugar and Cinnamon
Lightly salt your potatoes with Whiskey Smoked Salt
Sous vide these potatoes. (You can make them in the oven as well)
Place your potatoes in a bag with your butter
Sous vide the potatoes at 185 degrees for 1 hour
Once they are done place them in small oven safe bowls or Pyrex
Top them with the mini marshmallows
Place the bowls in the oven on broil until the marshmallows turn golden brown
Wait 2 minutes and enjoy!
