Cheesy Italian BBQ Sausage Bread is a savory and flavorful treat that brings together the smoky goodness of barbecue sausages and the comforting texture of bread. This dish often features grilled or smoked sausages, generously seasoned with barbecue spices
Ingredients
- 1 load of Italian Bread
- 1-2 packs of Sweet Italian Sausage
- ¼ lbs of Provolone Cheese Slices

Willie Pete Chicken Seasoning
- Chimichurri
- 1 cup of Chopped Parsley
- 1 cup of Chopped Cilantro
- ½ tablespoon of Minced Garlic
- ½ -1 Shallot (Minced)
- Red Pepper Flakes to Taste

Smoked Salt
- ¾ cup of Olive Oil
- ¼ cup of Red Wine Vinegar
Ingredients for Chimichurri
Directions
Assemble your chimichurri and place them in the refrigerator.
- Scoop out your Italian bread and make a boat out of it.
- Layer provolone cheese.
- Remove all the casing of the sausage.
- Press the sausage into the bread on top of the cheese.
- Spread and press till the entire loaf is covered with ground sausage.
Season with Willie Pete Chicken Seasoning.
- Set up your grill on medium-low heat.
- Once your grill comes up to temp place meat side down and press down to make even contact with the grill grate.
- After 7-10 minutes lower the heat on your grill and flip the bread.
- Once the internal temp of the meat reaches 160 degrees it's done.
- Slice into serving sizes and top with chimichurri!
