Bacon Glazed Donut Cheeseburger
Jason Murff and Pitmaster Paul
We all know how to make cheeseburgers right? But what we made is not your traditional burger. We took cheeseburgers to a whole new level.
Instead of having your regular buns, we used glazed donuts. We upgraded the regular patty by wrapping it in a bacon weave.
If you’re looking for a great way to give your cheeseburgers a twist, then this recipe is perfect for you!
BACON WEAVE WRAPPED PATTY
Lay out the bacon on the cutting board. Approximately 6 strips wide enough to cover the whole patty.
Make a basket weave out of the bacon strips
Once done, put the cheese in the center of the bacon weave
Season the burger beef patty with Pop Smoke - Taco & Fajita Seasoning
Lay the beef patty unto the cheese and top it off with another piece of cheese
Cover the patty and cheese by closing the bacon weave
Trim the edges to make a round shape patty
Season it with Infidel Pork Rub. Pop it on the grill until it has reached desired doneness.
Drizzle some honey a few minutes before taking it out of the grill
Thinly slice some jalapenos and assemble the burger.
Place the bacon weave on top of the bun and top it with some jalapenos
Season the beef burger patty with Ma Deuce Steak Seasoning. Sweat it out for 10 mins.
Fry the bacon. Save the bacon fat.
Use the bacon fat to cook the beef patty.
Top it with some cheese and let it melt a bit.
Assemble the burger. Place the beef patty on top of the glazed donut. Top it with some bacon strips.
Drizzle some ketchup for additional flavor
Place another donut on top.
