We’ve amped up this military mess hall favorite with Standard Issue Salt & Pepper (savory salt, pepper) instead of basic spices, plus a smoky hit of Willie Pete Chicken Seasoning for a flavor explosion. Juicy ground beef, fresh peppers, onions, and spaghetti noodles come together in one pan for an easy, budget-friendly dinner that beats takeout. Perfect for vets, foodies, or anyone craving hearty meals!

Ingredients

Beef tallow
- 1 lb. ground beef (80/20 OR 85/15)

Willie Pete Chicken Seasoning

Standard Issue Salt & Pepper
- 1 large onion, diced
- ½ green bell pepper, julienned
- ¼ c. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. fish sauce
- 1 lb. bucatini spaghetti noodles, al dente (closest to soba noodles in thickness)
- ½ tsp sesame oil
Directions
In a wok or large skillet, add some beef tallow, and let the pan preheat.
Add the ground beef to the wok/skillet, and break it up some. Add Standard Issue Salt & Pepper and Willie Pete Chicken Seasoning. Note: Go a little lighter on the Standard Issue Salt & Pepper and a little heavier with the Willie Pete Chicken Seasoning. Remember, you can always add more seasoning, but you cannot take it out!
- Brown the beef just until the red is gone.
- Stir in the onions and bell peppers. Let them simmer.
- Meanwhile, prepare the noodles to al dente, drain, and set aside.
- Add the soy sauce and fish sauce to the beef mixture and stir. If you feel more seasoning is needed, add more GYAO Willie Pete to the mix! Simmer until the vegetables are tender.
- Add the bucatini noodles and sesame oil, and mix well.
- ENJOY!
