Smoked Spinach and Artichoke Dip in a Bread Bowl is a delicious appetizer that combines the rich flavors of creamy spinach and artichoke dip with a smoky twist, all served in a hollowed-out bread bowl.
Ingredients

8 Ounces of Room Temperature Cream Cheese
- 1 Cup of Sour Cream

1 & 1/2 Cups of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese. Save 1/2 Cup of the Cheese for the Toppings
- 1 Tablespoon of Minced Garlic

3/4 Cup of Finely Chopped Artichoke Hearts
- 8 Ounces of Spinach Leaves
- ½ an Onion Diced

Cannibal All Purpose Spice
- 1/2 Cup of Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Chopped Chives for Garnish
- Sourdough Bread Bowl
- Tortilla Chips
- Olive Oil
- ½ lb - 1 lb of Ground Sausage (All Depends on How Meaty You Want to Make It)
Directions
Sautee your garlic and onion in olive oil.
Add your spinach and mix.
Let the spinach wilt down completely, remove from the pan and let it cool down.
Make sure you squeeze some of the liquid out with the spinach with paper towels.
Cook your ground sausage all the way through.
In a mixing bowl add cream cheese, artichoke hearts, sour cream, ground sausage, spinach, mozzarella cheese and season the entire mixture.
Mix thoroughly until everything gets well incorporated.
Spread evenly in a oven safe dish.
Place in your smoker at 250 degrees for 2 hours. Make sure you mix the dip around every 30 minutes.
Hollow out the bread bowl. Save the part you cut out and cut them up for dipping!
Place your dip mixture in the bread bowl and spread evenly.
Spread a layer of shredded mozzarella over the top.
Broil until golden brown.
- Plate up with extra bread and chips!
