Creamy Spinach & Sausage Pasta is a delightful and comforting dish that melds the richness of a creamy sauce with the savory goodness of sausage and the earthy, vibrant flavors of spinach.
Ingredients
- 1 Pound Of Ground Italian Sausage
- 1 Pound Of Penne Or Rigatoni Pasta
- Olive Oil
- 3-4 Garlic Cloves (Minced)
- ½-1 Yellow Onion (Chopped)
- 2 Cups Of Heavy Cream
- 5 Ounces Of Baby Spinach
- 1 Cup Of Grated Parmesan Cheese
- ¼-½ Cup Of Diced Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Standard Issue Salt and Pepper Seasoning To Taste

Willie Pete Chicken Seasoning
- Chopped Parsley For Garnish (Optional)
- ½ Teaspoon Of Red Pepper Flakes For Some Heat (Optional)
Directions
Cook the penne pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the Italian sausage along with the onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, and Willie Pete Chicken Seasoning until the sausage is no longer pink.
- Drain excess fat from the skillet if necessary and return the meat mixture to the pan.
- Turn the heat to low and add the cream to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and add in the spinach.
- Cook, stirring for about 3 minutes until the spinach is wilted.
Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted. Stir the pasta into the sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately.
