Parmesan-crusted air fried pickles & jalapeños are a delicious and savory snack that is sure to satisfy your taste buds. Using Donkey Dongs (pickles and jalapeños),this snack has a unique and flavorful taste with a perfect balance of sweet, salty, sour, and spicy. The crispy golden-brown crust is made using Parmesan cheese, Panko breadcrumbs, and Claymore Cajun seasoning that adds a bold and spicy creole flavor to the dish. Perfect for parties or game nights, these Fried Donkey Dongs are sure to be a hit with anyone who tries them.

Directions
Prep your Dongs!
The first step is to drain the dong juice from the pickles and jalapeños (we used a strainer and bowl to catch all the juice because you can pour it back into the jar and use it for another recipe that we have coming soon)
Then prep a cutting board with some paper towels or cheesecloths and lay out all of the pickles and jalapeños flat. Then place a paper towel or cheesecloth on top and gently press to remove any leftover dong juice. It's important that the donkey dongs are as dry as possible so that they get nice and crispy
Prep Dong Dunking Mix
The way we like to set up the next series of steps is to have 3 bowls laid out: the first bowl with the flour mix, the second with egg, and the last with Panko Parmesan
First bowl, spice up your 1/2 cup of flour with Claymore Cajun Seasoning and stir with a fork. (half teaspoon to full teaspoon depending on how spicy you like it)
Second bowl, whisk the eggs together.
Third bowl, mix Panko bread crumbs with parmesan cheese.
Dong Dunking
We like to have a piece of parchment paper laid out so that nothing falls through the cracks of the air fryer tray while we are laying out the coated dongs. If you prefer, you can place the breaded dongs directly onto the air fryer trays.
- Start with the flour and make sure everything is thoroughly coated, next dip in the egg and lastly into the breadcrumb mixture then place on the parchment paper.
Quick trick to make faster and cleaner, when we dunk the pickles or jalapeños into the breadcrumb mixture, place the pickles into the mixture and then use a spoon to shovel the breadcrumbs on top and the sides of the pickles or jalapeños. This may seem like extra work but once you get down to the last bit of breadcrumbs you don't want to be sliding your pickles or jalapeños around the bowl chasing breadcrumbs and tearing your donkey dongs, NOBODY wants a shredded dong!
- Take out your air fryer trays and coat them lightly with vegetable oil. Then gently transfer your pickles and jalapeños to the trays. Try to leave a bit of room so they don´t run over each other. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to make a few batches, our air fryer is a dual zone so the trays are a bit smaller.
- Air Fry for 8 to 10 minutes at 390F
Once they're done, scoop'em out of the air fryer and enjoy!
