Our Texas Breakfast Rolls feature a delightful combination of cooked sausage, tangy Rotel, and creamy cream cheese, all wrapped in buttery crescent rolls. These rolls are baked to a golden crisp, providing a satisfying crunch with each bite. Prepare them ahead of time and freeze for an easy grab-and-go breakfast or a crowd-pleasing brunch dish!
- Cook the sausage and chop it into smaller pieces. Place it in a bowl afterwards.
Season the cooked sausage with Cannibal All Purpose Spice.
- Drain the Rotel and add it to the bowl along with one block of cream cheese.
- Mix the ingredients together until they are thoroughly incorporated. Set the mixture aside.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Line a baking pan with aluminum foil and lightly coat it with cooking oil spray.
- Unroll the crescent rolls and place them in the baking pan, ensuring they cover the entire surface.
- Take approximately 1 tablespoon of the sausage and cream cheese mixture and place it onto each crescent roll.
- Carefully roll up each crescent roll, starting from the wider end, and place them seam-side down on the baking pan.
- Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Once done, remove the rolls from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes.
- Serve and enjoy the delicious sausage and cream cheese crescent rolls!
Recipe Note: If you have leftover mixture, you can freeze it for later use. Simply place it in an airtight container or freezer bag and store it in the freezer. Enjoy the convenience of having the mixture ready whenever needed!
