Cheesy Fried Atomic Dongs
Looking for a tongue-in-cheek recipe that will make your taste budstingle? Look no further than our Fried Cheesy Atomic Dongs! These deliciously crispy and crunchy pickles are wrapped in spicy pepper jack cheese and fried on the griddle to perfection. With each mouthful of these cheesy and tongue-tingling atomic dongs, you'll feel the heat in all the right places.
Griddle on medium heat, if you don’t t have a griddle you can do this on the stove top in a large pan on medium heat. Downside is having to do them one at a time.
We recommend freshly shredded Pepper Jack Cheese, take the pepper jack and make a nice little ball on the griddle that'll turn into our cheese tortilla. Make sure each cheese pile is a decent size, enough to wrap around your dong.
Wait until the bottom side of the tortilla gets a nice brown coating on it before you apply your dong.
When you are ready to start wrapping the dongs, place the dong about an inch from the edge of the cheese tortilla, and using a spatula, fold the cheese tortilla over the dong and continue rolling and wrapping until you have fully wrapped the dong in the torilla.
Let them crisp up for a minute or so more, until they get a nice crispy brown coating. Flip as needed.
Pull the dongs off the griddle and let them cool a bit.
